The problem with most study sites
If you've ever searched for practice quizzes on SQL, networking, or cybersecurity concepts, you already know the pattern: you find a promising site, click in expecting real practice material, and hit a wall after two or three free questions. Everything past that point sits behind a subscription, a "create an account and enter a credit card" flow, or an app download stuffed with ads that have nothing to do with studying.
That's not a study tool. That's a funnel.
What we wanted instead
We wanted something that respects a simple idea: if you're trying to learn, you shouldn't have to pay to find out whether the material actually helps you. So ROOT@QUIZ works like this —
- Every chapter, every question, completely free — no paywall, no "premium tier"
- No account required to play. Sign in only if you specifically want cross-device score syncing
- No dark patterns, no fake urgency, no popups begging you to subscribe
- Real explanatory guides alongside the quizzes, not just a wall of multiple-choice questions with zero context
What's coming next
We're building a Discord community — coming soon — as the home base for three things:
- Bug support — something broken or acting weird? Report it directly instead of shouting into the void
- Quiz suggestions — including the ability to submit your own questions for topics you want covered
- Feature requests — tell us what would actually make this more useful for how you study
In the meantime, keep an eye on this page — the invite link will go live here the moment it's ready.
